Submission Guidelines
Submissions cannot be posted directly to the blog. Please send your travel story to:
We welcome stories that are uplifting and inspiring, humorous or related to travel –from a vision-impaired or sighted perspective; a good story is all we require.
Your travel story or destination anecdote must be your own original work.
Submissions will be chosen by quality of content. Please edit and proof read your story.
Include contact details, email address and a brief (up to 75 word) bio. Where you live and what you like to do, website or blog address if you have one.
Word count: 500-700 words.
We would love the inclusion of a photo or maximum of two images that will enhance the story: size – up to 1Mb each, .jpg 1024 x 768
Expect to receive a response to your submission within 2 weeks from the date of your email.
A response does not guarantee a guest post on Touching Landscapes until we have been in contact with you for your permission to post the story and/or request minor edits to the piece.
Copyright remains with the writer. Unfortunately Touching Landscapes is not in a position to offer payment for stories but we hope the exposure to a different audience is a way of enhancing your portfolio.
